Principal's Message

 

Welcome to the 2023 – 2024 school year!  This next chapter that we are about to write, will be the most rewarding when it culminates with the tremendous academic gains of our students and the increased involvement of our community.  We will remain steadfast to the commitments we have made and open-minded to the onset of new learning opportunities.

As a vested community, we acknowledge that it truly takes a village to develop well rounded, confident, successful students.  Consequently, we value the support of our parents as we challenge and guide our Mavericks to perform at high levels.  The term maverick is defined as an unorthodox or independent-minded person, which is what we strive to accomplish day in and day out. Most importantly, we value providing our students with hands on, relevant learning engagements that facilitate inquiry and a desire to learn more.

Every staff member is geared up and eager to work with our students and provide them with the utmost exclusive learning experience.  In the words of the late poet,  Mattie J.T. Stepanek, “Unity is strength…when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved.”  With a family as large as Midkiff, the possibilities are infinite!
